Not sure what to do with those VHS tapes? Tek Pupil can convert them to digital videos. While the results look great, you need to understand a few basics about the video formats.
VHS video format is 320 x 240 pixels at the highest setting. That means a VHS tape is 1/4 the resolution of a DVD and less than 1/16 the resolution of a modern full HD video. Some VHS video was shot at even lower resolutions in order to get more video on the tape. While Tek Pupil can work magic during the transformation from VHS to digital, we cannot work miracles. Just be aware that your VHS tapes will not look as good as DVD's or modern HD video. The VHS format is a 4 to 3 ratio, meaning it is one third wider than it is tall. So you will have black bands on your wide screen TV when you view the video. Full HD video is a 16 to 9 ratio (1920 x 1080 pixels) and is the native resolution ratio of modern wide screen flat TV's (both 720 and 1080 HD).
VHS to Digital Conversion will provide you with a digital copy of your VHS tape in the MP4 format provided as a download thru Dropbox. Other formats are available upon request including DVD-R format. NOTE: Not all DVD players will properly play a DVD-R formatted disc.
